The project brought together a diverse and passionate group—including experienced skatepark builders, local community leaders, and dedicated helpers. From volunteers digging the forms, to those laying concrete, managing tools, and overseeing logistics—every individual played a crucial role.
The enthusiasm was incredible: alumni reported “all the builders, helpers, participants, donators” working non-stop over several weeks, pooling their time and energy to bring the park to life.
Though the exact count varied throughout the build, dozens of volunteers were always on-site daily, united in purpose. Together, they turned dusty terrain into a safe, concrete skatepark for local youth—truly embodying the spirit of “It’s their park.”
